Sydney’s iconic Luna Park will be the venue for Advertising Week Asia Pacific, as the global event lands in Sydney for the very first time from 30th July – 2nd August.
With hugely successful Advertising Week events already held in New York, Tokyo, Mexico City, and London, #AWAPAC will put industry professionals together throughout the Asia Pacific region for a week of thoughtful conversations with leaders from the marketing, advertising, technology and creative spaces.
During the week, they will discuss where we’ve been, where we’re going and what trends, challenges and opportunities are shaping today’s global industry.
Advertising Week’s immersive daytime programming is made up of nearly 80 seminars and workshops that focus on the industry’s most relevant topics and trends. Whether it’s a roundtable with industry experts discussing the latest innovations in technology and data, or a keynote with global business leaders looking ahead to what trends will dominate the creative industry in the years to come, Advertising Week programming is built to feel as diverse and thought provoking as the people it seeks to represent.
Social giants like Google, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest and Instagram will all be giving keynote addresses. WPP, PWC, Publicis and more agency giants will also speak to the assembled crowds. But while events like Cannes have a focus on the awards and the accolades, #AWAPAC feels a lot more focused to the future of the advertising business and how we can all evolve in the face of many global challenges and developments.
Passes start at just $499 – and if you live in Sydney, you get to go home at the end of each day! For those still recovering from the trauma of Cannes, this is another reason to attend an event on our own doorstep.
